I have a 100+ shoe collection and really have been disappointed in the quality of the recent nike/jordan releases...

I have been stepping my low cut Vans game up since
a) they look great with shorts
b) look even better with khaki pants and a polo shirt (my work fit)

So far I really like the look and feel of the Vans authentic, and Vans zapato...

are there any websites that show release dates of collabs that vans does with other companies?
 
I also started copping some vans recently in the past year, I would also like to know if there are any specific websites but most of the vans news make it onto hypebeast, highsnobiety and websites like that.

I have been doing the same, too many people these days have been coping every Jordan/Nike release, and vans are good value and look clean with jeans and shorts.

exactly... I get more quality wears out of a $30 pair of Vans than I do from a $160 cracked painted uncomfortable Jordan shoe :{

another thought... what would you rather have...

- 1 pair of fire red Jordan IV's (that just retroed a few years back that is sitting in your closet)

or

- 5 pairs of Vans that you can rock for casual or semi-casual functions

JB is slipping...
 
vans do some pretty dope collabs, i'll upload some pair of vans i have when i have time.
 
Here are some pictures of some of the vans i own, all seen are eras. I can take better picture of all my vans later. 
 
I like vans because they look good with my cut of denim which is slim. They've actually been coming out with a lot of good designs and collars over the past few months. To me I would rather buy a couple of simple clean vans than a flashy pair of Lebrons or Kobe's. Vans vault or California are also very nice and pretty cheap compared to other more premium type shoes. I still go with the classic authentic most of the time though.

vans and pumas has been my work shoe for the last few years. So many cool styles for such a low price. Can't beat them at all.

Don't wait, these can be had now.

As of now these will not be a stateside release, these were released to Carhartt WiP stores only and basically only a Europe release as they have most Carhartt WiP stores. The only store in the states that got these were the NYC Carhartt WiP store and to my knowledge they are sold out and only had one size run of each colorway. I was also told that they were an in-store only release and not available online.

Here is my loophole as I am in Cali and have been waiting on this release . . .
I found them on the AU website here: http://www.carharttstore.com.au/Mens/Vans.aspx

It says they are taking phone orders via CC and email orders via PayPal.

I sent them an email saying I want a size 10 in the Camo colorway and they sent me an invoice. After I paid the invoice they replied saying they usually don't ship to the US and they wouldn't have sent the invoice if they had known prior but offered to ship to me if I paid the extra shipping.

My point is, email them your size and ask for them to send you an invoice but don't let them know you're in the US.

How much was the second invoice for shipping to the US?
 
They last long because they are skate shoes. Although if you skate Authentics they'll probably get destroyed quick.

Couple kickflips and ollies in a pair of authentics. 15 minutes and I had a slight hole over my pinkie :/
Oh well, theyre just vans lol. They Pro Classics line is killin it though. And those spitfire collabs? Oh mannnnn.
Vans are the greatest everyday shoe ever! Still yet to cop a Vans x Supreme collab, but the Old Skools tomorrow may be my first :D
 
never been into vans much, but i need these in my life (size 12):
 
I'm late in hearing the news and saw a few pics.  Vans collab with Nice Kicks dropped on 09/14.  Looking for the highs anyone have an idea online or in person where they may still be available? Any info would be appreciated.  
 
ive been eyeing some vans for a while but im still debating eras vs authentics. cant seem to make up my mind, i owned some vans when i was younger. very comfortable
