i wanted to post this on the celtics thread but anyway. at 20 and 21, i hope jaylen brown and jayson tatum can be 2/3 of a future big 3 in boston, with kyrie going in to his prime granted he's healthy. hayward's and horfords contracts end right when the j&j's rookie contracts expire as so there's continuity there. and with a lot of picks still on the horizon, the celtics' future is looking bright.

Beyond Chris Paul deserving a finals appearance, James Harden might be the most marketable player in the NBA right new. Beards are the new six pack. Bron vs Beard. NBA you know what time it is. Time to make good on this TV deal. No one wants to see Cavs v Warriors 4.
no one deserves anything.
And don't y'all get tired of seeing LeBron take finals losses.that ish is played. We need some new blood.

Celtics future > 76ers.

I wonder if Brad Stevens would coach there for a long time or not... wonder what his next gig would be...

This dialogue is pretty stupid.

Who's the best player MJ beat in The Finals?

A broken down Magic that retired a few months later because he was HIV+?

Charles Barkley who won MVP that season.

Btw Chuck had a CRAZY season that year. 25/12/5/1/1 on 52/30/76. Mike still probably should have won but I mean Chuck did his thing that year

dont even care bout the argument but magic was broken down ? .magic that was a year removed from mvp and was 2nd in mvp voting.

Gary Payton? Karl Malone? Stockton? Barkley?

I'm glad you brought these guys up.

You wanna run down the list of players LeBron has faced in The Finals?

Because there's people on here who claim KD is the best player they've ever seen and that Steph is the 2nd greatest PG of all time.

Magic, James Worthy, Clyde Drexler, Barkley, Kemp, GP, Karl Malone, John Stockton

Buncha plummers

Well in all fairness, the question was who has Lebron faced in the Eastern Conference then you randomly asked who MJ faced in the finals.........

So who Lebron faced in the Final really had no bearing on the discussion until you thought you were going to prove something.

You could say he beat Duncan, Steph, and KD.
He also lost to Duncan, Steph, KD, and Dirk.

MJ didn’t lose to anyone in the finals so /shrug

Point is no one gets to pick their opponent.

They've both played soft teams, who gives a ****?

Does he not get credit for the wins?

Not really,

"Cakewalk East"

"Ray Allen saved his legacy"

He had to come back down 3-1 against a 73 win team to get recognition from some people.

A lot of people forget that MJ had to deal with the Celtics and Pistons in his early days
Instead of taking the easy route, he played for the Bulls until 98 and dominated the 90s
Hell he made the Knicks and Magic his ***** in the 90s

This period of limbo on NT happens every year. Actually twice a year. The week before the Conference Finals and the week before the Finals start. I love the Hot Takes :lol

KD losing with the warriors this season is almost inevitable. The basketball gods are cruel but fair. You don’t upset the balance with a lame *** move like he did and not get punished for it. Lebron is still recovering from what the basketball gods did to him. Leaving to go to Miami to win only to lose, especially that first season damaged his psyche on another level. Bball gods are cooking up something special for KD though. He forced his hand and got the championship he wanted with a team that didn’t need him and it caused his credibility to take a hit. And just like @leavemeglazzies mentioned with first Westbrook winning the MVP and now James Harden winning the MVP in consecutive seasons KD’s legacy is about to take a bigger hit. The final nail in the coffin will be the warriors losing this season and the narrative that the Warriors have never repeated as champions will put him on a sinking ship that he shouldn’t have put himself on had he believed in his own legacy.

This is the biggest load of crock I've ever read. God has better things to do than manifest his powers on basketball. If it was that simple and straigtforward, we'd solve a lot of the worlds issues like poverty and hungry. Miss with that Narnia nonsense.

I agree the dialogue is a lil iffy....but you are WILDIN calling 91 Magic (Broken down)

91 Magic was the reining MVP and finished the 91 season 2nd in MVP voting....

He certainly wasn't broken back Larry Bird status but he was clearly passed his prime and retired a few months later because he was sick.
