Picked up a Seiko SSK001 to celebrate 1 year at my job. (But really it's because I caught an eBay deal :lol:) The Hardlex coated bezel looks really good in person; think it might be my favorite part of the watch.

It's a vibrant shade of green but in certain lighting conditions it comes off very dark--almost black at times. I don't know if the dial design would qualify as 'sunburst' per se but the texture definitely plays with the light in an interesting way. It's the Seiko SPB169 "Sharp Edge". Check...

On wrist today

The pink is very, very subtle. I'd say more often than not it is barely there. In some lighting it is kind of prominent but I don't think I've ever gotten a picture of it. Sometimes I wish it were more pink.

Yeah I think they're the same watch. I bought mine back in April and absolutely love it. Definitely recommend. PRX on wrist yesterday

Wore the Grand Seiko out for the first time since picking it up. Titanium is crazy light and comfortable. It's gained maybe 1/2 sec since I set it on Saturday. That second hand sweep is mesmerizing.

A solid movie for sure. I really liked the cast and Viola Davis killed it as Mrs. Jordan. I think I would've enjoyed it more if I didn't know most of the details going in, but it was still a good time.
