U right, did not think about shaq getting paid. I believe reebok did break Dominic off a little for the zones. I am good with the $160 price point, but not liking other nt member reviews of hard leather. I agree reebok felt these would move, so why limit the production numbers?
I agree, lots have justifed the high price with the functional pump but the recent twilight zone worked fine. The leather used was soft and retail was $120.
I agree, post 2004, the best all around quality was the motorsport 6. I don't understand JB sometimes. The 2011 BC 3 had ok leather, but midsole paint chipped. The 2012 WC 4 had terrible leather, but midsole paint held up better. Always something is flawed.
JB quality will never be what it once was but some releases are better than others. I like to see what others who have the pair in their hands are saying about the quality. The Varsity red 6 leather was decent but a very similar shoe which released close to it, the infrared 6 had stiff plastic...
I prefer the soft leather that creases rather than the hard leather of the recent 5's. I bought a pair of twilight zone pumps and the leather quality felt much better. Soft or hard leather preference depends on the person but seems like JB made their choice.
If the days of being able to casually walk in the store to buy retros comeback I would be happy. But which retros sat? Nothing really here in the Bay Area sat around in the popular sizes. Hopefully u are correct and the reselling sport dies.
That **** was rigged. My friend got a call later on the day of the release. Told him to come by 6pm if he wanted them with his ticket. Probably leftovers after all friends and family were taken care of. No checks or balance, but all the shoes are sold and no major issues so FL is happy.
I remember the motorsports not sitting in stores or websites... Nike air is great, but how about dyeing the soles so the people don't have to worry about chipping. I don't complain about creasing because that's what soft leather does but the BC 3 chipped after two wears.
Anyone win the fnl raffle at serramonte. Twitter person at finishline refuses to be direct about questions on if there are enough pairs per raffle winners. HOH in Santa Clara didn't even get 100 pairs...
