It’s called spew. Basically fat migrating out of the leather over time due to temp/humidity fluctuations.
You can wipe it off but it’ll reappear. Spew remover would take care of it permanently.
It’s kinda funny tbh. They realized their stock was gonna tank and suddenly they shift plans and we start getting everything we want. I bet we’ll start seeing Nike air on the back of non og/collab 3-6 soon too.

Blame JB for allowing SB to swoop in and fix one of their best models. I think the team at SB deserves credit for the hard work that Jordan brand itself was unwilling to put in.
If they slimmed down the toecap just a bit I wouldn’t be mad. You’re right about that. The og cut is a travesty though, imo. They had something good in 2015 just needed to use better materials. They destroyed the model when they switched to the new mold. Interesting how the Travis Scott pairs...
If you look closely at the edges of the material you can see it’s just felt with a PU coating. Notice how perfectly smooth it looks and how perfect the fake pores look throughout the entire shoe. There isn’t a single pair that shows any wrinkling or finish variation like you’d get with genuine...
Most casuals would complain about durabuck/synthetic leather. They’re only happy with tumbled leather because that’s the only thing they perceive as being quality material. I really hope we get a nice synthetic leather though.
