The Georgetown jersey is fake, though. I mean, it's a real Georgetown jersey in the existential sense in that it exists.
But it's not legit because it's obviously not a Nike jersey. They didn't pay G'town a buttload of money so other brands could make jerseys for them. Especially not adidas...
Super fugazi. Nike made the G'town jerseys then. This is what they should look like (these are my unis. The away also have "Iverson" stitched on the back but the home one doesn't):
As an older god, I'll keep it brief.
It used to be easy to buy shoes in Toronto (99 – 2010ish). Now it's hard.
Your best bet is entering as many HOH raffles for the right to purchase those Js (and get friends and family to get more raffle tickets).
If you shop online, "acting quick" isn't...
Sorry for the late reply, but apparently House of Hoops FL in downtown Toronto, Mississauga and Vancouver are the only spots in Canada that got the big Jumpman versions.
But the regular XX9s (elephant print version) should be available at FLs, and online at capsuletoronto.ca and livestock.
Instapumps are pretty comfortable -- but that's because they're basically slip-ons.
I don't own woven (except the Inneva Wovens) -- but those are fairly comfortable, too. I'd call them "minimal" more than "comfortable".
I think the MPs work well with jeans...
Haven't worn them outside because it's -10°C/14°F and snowy/icy/crappy.
Sad to say, this is the selfie I look least scared in...
I never had the OG Carbon Fibers, but the finish doesn't look glossy to me. The sole looked the same as the regular FPs, but the medial side is weak on these.
Haven't worn them around, but they felt fine, just like the previous retros and the OGs (which I balled in and destroyed...).
I dunno...
Got my pair from FL/HOH on Yonge street this morning...
Happy with them (despite crack-smokingly high price) but it's true – the medial side is weaker looking than the OG or previous re-issues. Dunno why they changed this – even for those FP "revealed" atrocities...
Last guy in line to get mine at Livestock in Toronto. Usually a 11.5 but the guy ahead of me took the last 12. Lucky the 11 fits fine. They look great in denim and sweats (tech fleece)
Got to the Eaton Centre FL/HOH at 11:30am only to find that they had no 11.5s left.
I thought that size was just sold out but apparently no 11.5s were shipped to any Foot Locker Canada.
Dude said that NYC got all the 11.5s. I recall something similar with the LeBron IX Elites a couple years...
The fact that it may be the best performance shoe ever has nothing to do with actually selling them here (in Canada).
Not saying it's cool that they're unavailable, but like dude said, no one here buys current Air Jordans anymore -- probably because they're so damn expensive and are impossible...
Andy Warhol-designed Camo Fitted
Photo of Warhol on the inside. Warhol quote on the sweat band: "It takes a lot of work to figure out how to look so good."
I posted a pic on the other page (SOLs and Rondos) and though you can't tell from the image, the soles of my SOLs haven't yellowed at all so far.
By way of comparison, my ('09?) Spacejam's soles have yellowed only a li'l in the middle -- and I'd left them outside (in my house) for a couple...
