Played one 2 hour session in the GT Cut 3s. First impressions - elite traction, insane step in comfort, bouncy but in a different way vs. Zoom. Fit is superb compared to the GT Cut 2s where I had heel slippage.
Had no plans of buying these at full price but luckily got a white/red pair at...
Update: I've been playing in these exclusively for the past few weeks, for pick up and tough grind out games. I think they broke in after 3 2-hour sessions. Soles show no signs of separation so hopefully I'm out of the woods.
You know it. haha. Keep your receipt in case of returns, got mine off of a reseller for below SRP so no returns for me. :lol: Need more playing time to confirm if my pair is immune to the issue.
Been playing in my FIBAs (XDR) for around 4hrs total. Really comfy, awesome traction out of the box. Will probably need more break in time but these feel plush compared to the 37s (which I also love playing in). Reminds me a bit of the 31s.
37 = bouncy
38 = plush
So far no sole seps, not even...
The thing is - I don't think the "bend" you're showing was intentional and by design. It's just the way the upper folds? It's just like saying the designers designed the toes of AF1s to crease.
Just had my 4th play through in these. The cushioning did break in by the 3rd one and now they're as bouncy as my highs. Now they play and feel exactly the same save for the flapping of the 37 upper and the completely locked down feel of the 37 lows. Both are great performers.
Ah I missed out on the 34 lows, I had the highs, but I get what you're saying. I don't think they'd stretch that far out. The fit on the 37 lows are the forget-you-have-shoes-on fit, at least on my feet. Because on the GT Cut 2s (which some of my friends swear by), I never felt fully locked down.
You're welcome. That's the same reason I go to NT.
My highs probably took 2 three hour sessions then on the third they felt great. I distinctly remember thinking on the third session that the forefoot zoom protruded obnoxiously, which I don't remember particularly feeling on the first...
Played in 37 lows for the first time last night. The 37 highs and the lows are two distinctly different shoes, at least from an upper perspective. The lows hug my foot perfectly like a sock, while the material on the highs flap around a bit. The flapping material issue is more of annoying...
Just played in these, Hare 37s. I had the 34s, skipped 35s and 36s, and these remind me so much of the 34s. Light, bouncy, 9/10 traction. I think they perform well out of the box so I can't wait until these break in.
Just need the white lows and I'm done. Traction could be better but they got that right on the Black Cats. Really solid performers and are good for old knees.
