I'm in need of the same information. I'll be in Seattle next weekend for a track meet and was wondering if anybody could let me know spots to hit upclose to UW. Close as in walking distance. Thanks in advance.
The MAX can pretty much take you anywhere now that the Green Line is open. The Green Line goes all the way out to Clackamas Town Center and the bus system isalso good for getting around. Come down, enjoy the city, and go Blazers!
Paul's pretty much got the right idea if you're looking to be a Nike designer. If you do well during college and get your degree in design orarchitecture and are an Oregon graduate, it's almost guaranteed that you can get a Nike job.
Anybody able to stop by the Centralia outlet for me? I heard that they have Zoom Mutumbo Track Spikes for $40 or so and was wondering if anybody could ship apair down to Portland for me? PM me and we can work something out.
Beyond Compound, you could hit up Cal's Pharmacy, Exit, and the Nike Factory. Both Cal's and the Factory are relatively close to each other as well.Cal's Pharmacy is on 15 NE Hancock and the Factory is on MLK. Exit is on NW 23rd.
Andre will definitely help but I'm more interested in seeing the development of all our rookies. Batum, Rudy, and Greg should all come along nicely thisseason.
P.S.
F*** the Lakers!

I've had some good runs at the Pearl District and Hollywood 24's. As for outdoor parks every once in a while there is a good run but those have beenabsolutely random for me.
If anybody is looking for 10.5, shoot me a message and we can work something out. Compound in Portland didn't have my size so I took the next closestthing.
