Is your decision to buy or not buy a pair of Js influenced by others? And i don't mean friends, but the general buying public. I apparently am. Forexample, the AJ 6s that dropped yesterday: I was on the fence last night about them, and ultimately i decided the $150 tag (even $120 with the code)...
Same with me: i haven't bought any packages, but i WOULD have bought some of those early retro jordans if they'd been sold by themselves. So in mycase, Nike/JB has lost sales they otherwise would have had.
Of course it's their business to know the economics of it so maybe on balance they...
I haven't posted here for a while and was wondering what the consensus feeling around here is about the "packages" marketing. My opinion? I'monly interested in "classic" Jordans, which for me is I throught XIII, so i see it as a way for Nike to force me to buy a shoe i don't want (likea XVIII)...
Shipping is free at FL automatically? Great, that makes me feel better.
But what about what "Poofyo101" says about them getting their inventory from their stores?
If so, we are screwed.
I just ordered from Finish Line but in my statement it says no charge ($.0.00) for shipping, even though i didn't have a coupon or code for free shipping.
This makes me concerned that the order might not go through ... :(
... I also had a "G" in front of my order, but then got a confirmation e-mail with a regular non-G number, so i guess a lot of those G orders are going through. Go figure.
I ordered the fire reds from Eastbay and got an order # with a "G" in front and called Eastbay .. talked to a supervisor named Nikki. She said that the G means it's a "contingency order" that has to be entered in to the system by hand tomorrow, at which point the shoes will almost certainly all...
Got mine at 4pm today. Very smooth dealing with Nike this time around.
Shoes are a bit of disappointment though, not worth $144 (as Nike figures it).
And $28 each for the hat and shirt are insane.
I'll pass on the next laser package, unless they offer some real value, like that hoodie that...
