@airthompson Hope you’ve been well, man. Remember you from the early and exciting days of when the Air Jordan 1 High emerged and evolved during that 2013-2015 era.
Excited to see pics of your pair once they land. So few images of these compared to what’s usually out this close to a release and...
From the sound of the hints that MrUnloved1s has been dropping, it’s looking like still one ‘85 a year for the foreseeable future and that next year for the 40th anniversary, we will be getting Blk/Rd in true 1985 form.
Wondering if all this has to do with the release getting pushed officially or unofficially to 11/2–some stores I heard didn’t get their shipment in on 10/25. Hopefully y’all get something Thursday.
Adding my sizing $0.2, as my pair came in yesterday. They do feel slightly more snug than ‘85...
Are these your pictures or do you have these in your possession? Curious about these. I can see past the green heel piece until we get a proper OG “Home” colorway—what’s been more frustrating for me is the sizing of the latest run of 2s (let me know if anyone agrees).
They fit all over the...
I stay TTS on lows and highs—though I’ve found some of the lows can have a more narrow toebox. In any event, sounds like you’re saying the toes will have wiggle room if you go TTS? The boutique near me pushed these out a week too, claiming the shipment didn’t arrive yet.
Patience seems to have paid off. Got shipping as well this morning for a size 13, Saturday order placement. Fingers crossed they get there and all is good.
There was, many moons ago, a Wht/Rd original sample from that era—but yes, 2 only released. Not many other samples floating around like with ‘85 OG highs—so options seem limited here.
Interested to hear your thoughts @dmoney23444 . Random store near me will have these and I’ll swing by Wednesday and get them—hopefully with no headache. Don’t love the talk of a snug toebox but I’ve been swapping out the PU insole on ‘85s for DreamCell to give my toes a little more wiggle space.
Fingers crossed but I too, like some others above, feel the Hibbett’s order is too good to be true. I moved quick on Saturday afternoon and it still says “In Process” but I’m not holding my breath…especially as a size 13.
@kintan, another classic debate over sizing seems to be ensuing over these. Some folks are wondering if they should go down half a size as they do with typical Air Jordan 1 OG lows and “Adham” on Twitter initially says stay TTS and then later says TTS is snug and to go up half a size—which only...
