I'm 5'10 and 175lbs. Both shoes are very light (I was surprised). Both are high off the ground even though the VI have Zoom Air. The VI have bettercushioning, the VII have better lock-down. That's basically the two in a nut shell.
I agree with andfattoo. I got a solid 3 shoe rotation. Lebron IV, Lebron VI, Soldier III. I wear different ones depending on how I feel like playing for theday lol.

My iv's are actually my true size (10). They fit me well but I feel if i went 9.5 they'd have the tight feel that I like to have with my basketballshoes. I'm sure if I went down half size myself it would be tight at first, but it think once broken in, it would be perfect.
