sheet. now i need to go try them on before ordering. loved the xx lows. was hoping the soul of the sole would be the same in these. but not willing to deal with slantfoot
follow up: wore them twice for limited minutes and part of the sole is starting to fall off the right one.
edit. emailed pony and they're sending me a pair of their new hoops shoe. so thumbs up to their customer service.
i have a pair of 6500s picked them up at marshalls for 20 bucks.solid shoe, good width, comfortable. only thing is the leather stretched after a while and its hard to get them tight enough now.

i just got a pair of these from eastbay for 19 bucks. 17 after discount. will write a review once i have a chance to play in them. so far they are very light, and not too narrow for my big $$% forefoot. wish i could have got them in leather but nubuck looks nice. just worried it will stretch too...
what is brooks wearing in this pic? pretty sure amir johnson on the raps is rocking them as well. but i'm clueless about their name.

somewhat, but it's hard to argue that hoops shoes dont increase performance.... traction is better than bare feet on most of them (except a few pairs ofAnd1's i've owned..lol). though i suspect hoops shoes dont prevent many injuries.
my good friend frank wore these for 8th grade hoops, 83-84. (mid season he switched to some fayva top ten copy cats...lol). nice catch sole addict. wonder ifthey are on the sole system, that is the only way i'd be able to name them.
you dont need the box or receipt to ship them to nike as far as i know. check nike.com for how to return them.
if you're near a niketown, just bring them in there. they are very easy to deal with from my experience.
