bajanprodigy - Nice pickup! I'm still on a hunt for a pair, at a decent price. I don't like paying reseller prices. West ED did get the White Out Foams. I heard a few people lined up for them. I didn't have to line up for my pair, a buddy was able to help me out.

I haven't tried them on. I compared it with my 2011's and the only thing that's different is the heel tab.

My Retro 3 88's finally came in today. Eastbay took their time shipping it out. Now I don't have to lineup at WEM FTL for these in March. Any of you guys waiting for PHX Foams?

That's my plan for the Royal 1's. I got lucky getting a pair of Retro 3 '88 from Eastbay on release day. I'm going to try my luck again, see if I can get the Royal 1's there too.

West Ed FTL will be getting them on March 23rd. it's on the email that they sent out last. They're just not sure how many pairs they are allocated. Unless something changed, they will get them for sure. Just in limited quantity

Yeah trading shoes here in Edmonton is pretty horrible. Most people buy to resell at a ridiculous price and not want to trade it even though they know that the shoes are not going to move. I bet 60% of the people lining up for kicks are just there to resell. I see adds on kijiji where sellers...

Squadron 13's and a few other kicks also drop on that day. I also heard the hype on FJ's is really high. There will probably be a lineup, just don't know if its going to be big. If i can get my schedule at work changed on that day, I'll be lining up to get them. otherwise it will be a pass for me.

Phoenix Suns and Whiteout are the ones i'm waiting for. If i can get my shift changed this weekend, I will possibly go and pickup the FJ's. Otherwise it is a pass for me

What size do you wear? for the people that lined up outside footlocker for the 5's release in Edmonton, what time did the mall doors open? are the security still making people leave if you get there before 6 AM?

Foam 1's are nice but i find them heavy and snug. You gotta break them in really good for them to be comfortable. I didn't see the Royal 1's on the list either. Either it will be a quickstrike for them or FTL just didn't pick it up. Hope other stores did though.

Yeah I'm not liking the price either. If Royal 1's come to Edmonton, I'll be buying them.

Mall doors don't open until 6:00AM now, that's what security at WEM told FTL. You can wait outside until it opens then just wait/lineup outside footlocker doors once you are allowed in the mall. Of course this all depends on the shoe that is releasing too. Some will have a line up and some won't.

No worries. Next time you go to FTL, just ask one of the guys or manager if you can get added to the email list for the upcoming release that they will be getting. I'm actually waiting for the Foam 1 Phoenix colourway that's dropping in March.

kerrian7 - yeah I texted my buddy that works there. He said that they haven't gotten their list for February. Give them another call closer to Feb. They will for sure know what they'll be getting then. Do you get the email that the manager sends out that outlines the releases for every month?

i haven't really decided on which shoes I will be picking up this year. Shoes that are on my radar are Suns Foam 1, Grape 5, Black/Royal 1, He Got Game 13, Playoffs 8 (sold my last retro pair for cheap thinking I had a second pair smh), 11 lows and mids and possibly Toro 4. I haven't looked at...

Thanks. I buy all my kicks at retail or less (whenever possible), I refuse to pay reseller prices. If I can't get it on release day, I don't buy it at all. I can only think of 3 pairs out of all my kicks where I paid more than retail.
