Here you go again being presumptuous. The txt msg screen shot speaks for itself and NT users can interpret it however they wish - as does MrMar's letter, the two authentic letters, and the Chicago Bulls response to MrMar's letter.
You imply that MrMar's identity should not be exposed under any...
The item was paid for in-person. The collector that purchased the shoes is not the same person that won the ebay auction and left positive feedback. Very odd.
Worst SN in the history of NT.
That's one man's opinion, others have told me its the best in the history of NT.
A story of public interest isn't evidence of anything.
Obviously, and I'm not making that claim. I am simply stating a reason for posting the sordid details and making it public...
I'd like to take a moment to address an issue brought forth by BIP Roberts:
Why was MrMar's identity not protected like the buyer's?
The buyer is a private collector and as far as I know is not even a member of NT - his identity deserves to be protected as he is the victim here. It is MrMar's...
When he was a collector, he was part of the solution as evidenced by his role in the screech/lu scam and his blog post identifying fake XChi45s on ebay.
Now that he no longer collects, he could care less and unfortunately appears to have become part of the problem.
You must have some loyalty to the scammer or don't care if he rips someone else off in the future. That's what this thread is for - to help ensure this type of thing doesn't happen again!
A Bulls letter adds a huge premium to an item. For example, a typical game worn MJ jersey (post 95) goes for around $4,500. The same jersey with Bulls LOA goes for $8-12k.
Mike claims to have Bulls letters with both of his Playoff PEs - the Xs and the XIIIs (other than the 1s, these are his most expensive pairs). Items with Bulls letters carry a huge premium! If the letter was manufactured by the previous owner to Mike (which is a huge stretch IMO), Mike has an...
I'm almost positive the collector that bought them for $7k in-person isn't the same guy that "won" the auction on ebay. Either shill bidding was going on or the winning bidder didn't pay because I believe these Xs were relisted as a buy it now for $7000 or $7500 and the listing was ended early.
