60% stars means at least 50 wears to me... I've found that the stars fade very slowly at first, and then catch up on the back end by fading quicker the more you wear a pair.
So, if you can get $175 for a pair that has been worn at least 50 times - take it and run. A pair with 60% of the stars...
i need to make some room in my closet... if anyone wants anything i have (mostly size 10.5 and 11, with some size 10 pairs sprinkled in there) please hit me up - i'd rather not sell to randoms on ebay.
my red jewel mids:
and my goldenrod jewel lows:
derek, great pickup. i passed on a pair about year ago... big regret. can't remember whether i ever posted these, but haven't taken new pics of anything in a while. if i already posted, enjoy them again - my oldest pair.
'91 white/zen grey highs:
a little late, but here's the stitched swoosh all white pair:
and here's a white/white pair from '01 with the block letter heel tab:
hope everyone in here is well. i see charles is back - that's enough to get me posting again!
crazy stuff on this page - all those '91 highs. i have a recently-acquired '91 high contribution for page 500 - huge thanks to mike for these.
'91 white/light zen grey highs:
and a bonus - with the '99 lows:
this thread may be the best it's ever been right now - dating all the way back to the inception of vol. 1. i'll have something new (and old) to offer later this week, but here are some recycled contributions until then to keep this rolling:
wow - those used size 11 infrareds went for $170. a used pair of size 11 goldenrod jewel lows went for $200 a couple weeks ago. both pairs had definitely seen better days, neither pair came with the box... i guess now is the time to sell your beat heat?
here's another pic of those '90 purple low's (not mine, but i'd trade most of my collection for this pair):
and here's a bonus pic - i'd seriously trade my entire collection for these '83 lows:
