only Roberts treated it as a tax in his concurring opinion. The majority opinion treats the ACA as a valid excercise of Congress' commerce clause powers. Also, I'm not sure why you keep citing the DoI as a reason why the ACA shouldn't have been passed. What does one have to do with the other...
So you wish to force your morality upon the nation? So you probably think that abortions should be illegal as well.
nice strawman argument there. Access to healthcare is recognized as a human right by international human rights law and by most industrialized countries. It's not my morality...
THIS! Not to mention that the insurance companies have spent millions lobbying against the ACA. Insurers don't win here at all. The likely winners here at people who were previously uninsured and those with preexisting medical conditions.
lol im sayin though.. he's a student. He's probably eligible for a student visa, so why not do it the legit way? Getting caught with fake papers is a felony that can carry years in prison and a lifetime ban from the US. Also, who wants to deal with snakeheads if they don't have to?
Not necessarily. You may be eligible for a student visa. From what I've heard from my parent who are taiwanese citizens, its been fairly easy for to get a visa in Taiwan(not sure if this is actually true). Also another avenue you could explore is seeing if you have any immediate family in the US...
Immigrant visa and green card are the same thing. I think you mean nonimmigrant visa. If so that's usually good advice. The majority of people find it beneficial to come here as nonimmigrants (students/workers/etc.) and adjusting their status the immigrant once they're on American soil.
Contact the closest US Embassy/Consulate. They should be able to help you. I work in immigration law so if you have any specific questions let me know.
pretty much.. dude had 90-100 guards guarding him and he still managed to get scale the wall surrounding his house run from the guards, swim across the river, then make it 600 miles to Beijing. BAWSE
