Everyone needs to take a real hard look at themselves, and keep it real.
1. Most people have overpaid for a pair of shoes. I bought a pair of XI Breds last year for $250 (pretty decent price if you ask me) before this year's re-release announcement. Since they're my #2 grails, I'm content that...
I hope so. All the of the Lebrons have always looked heavy and chunky like boots. I guess that was the look they were going for, but I'm from So Cal. It's all about shorts and flip flops for me. Just makes sense that I gravitate toward the low-tops instead of Nikeberlands.
That and I'm a Kobe...

Waddup NT'ers. I need your input into which shoes are better to play in. Up until now, I have been playing exclusively in Kobes (4s, 5s, and 6s) and hyperdunks. I'm thinking about buying a pair of Lebrons (8 or 9s) to play in. I prefer playing in my hyperdunks, but I've noticed that the treads...

I agree. Only if you have an iced pair. I have both the Carpe Diems and the Concords and love both pairs for different reasons.
If you are giving up 2 pairs of shoes for the Concords, I'd say no. Those Carpe Diems are going to be one of the most memorable shoes from the Kobe line.
Yeah $70 for insoles with an ankle brace is crazy. Regular Kobes + a $10 McDavid ankle brace is far more cost effective.
I'm still tripping out about the 370z => GTR analogy. WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY off. You don't know anything about cars if you think that's accurate.
Oddly enough, you're not the only crazy person who is bothered by this. Sometimes I just think, why the hell couldn't they just line it up after they lace them through the first set of holes??
I rock all of my shoes and match my clothes depending on what color scheme I'm trying to pull off. Mostly, because of my school colors, I've been rocking the Bulls black/red. The only kicks I duck walk in are my Concords, and I would NEVER wear them if I even remotely thought there was a small...
Although I'm in it for the shoes and I'm greedy and want to ice a pair, I think limiting 1 per customer wouldn't be such a bad idea. It'll stop the resellers from jacking up prices and not letting sneakerheads buy a pair of kicks that they really want. I'm pissed that I didn't get a pair of Kobe...
2nd in a row for me. With the crazy hype of the Concords last year, I'm not surprised that they're bringing out the more popular Breds instead of the Columbias this Christmas.
I just recently picked up a pair from a guy who parted out his pack too. Damn. I guess I'll have 2 pairs on ice now.
The Cool Greys are a maybe for me, but my favorite colorway is the low-top navy. They need to be retro'd again. I wore my pair until they had holes in them and the sole separated from the shoe.
