Very solid value for Martin. Now all Morey needs to do is to bring back Dario and Cov and we can call it a summer.

The real question is, does anybody even know of Buddy's playoff performance?

It took a major overpay to get him out of NY. Almost 30 mil a year is excessive and hard to say no to when you've been a backup Center your whole career.

I would assume slightly lower. Especially since he's with the Wizards.

If the Kings should aim for anyone, it should be Kuz. The Wizards are a team of outcasts and Harrison Barnes is the perfect fit for that.

The idea of Buddy Hield was much more enticing than the reality if Buddy. When he is hitting 3s he's really effective, he even expanded his game in the first few games with Philly, he started driving and even made some plays for others. But some reason, that completely disappeared and he went...

Sixers spent a 2nd round to get him and got it back. I'm not mad at it.

Good signing for Minny - they need all the playmaking they can get and he already has chemistry with Gobert and Conley:

As fun as that would have been, I am glad that he went to the US for the following reasons: Less load on him which means less injury risk He gets to play alongside the best players in the world and will learn a ton of the intangibles (leadership, work ethic, etc...) needed to win a chip. For...

Agreed. One solution should be that the Supermax "bonus" should not affect the cap. Everyone wins that way and I hope they implement it.

Damn...so the Kawhi contract is basically a sunk cost...

Agreed. It's too bad they lost both DJJ and Josh Green. With Luka, Kyrie, and now Klay, perimeter defence is going to be a gaping hole. Hopefully Quintin Grimes steps it up a notch and Exum continues his strong play.

I may be mistaken, but the moment Maxi came back from injury, the effectiveness of both Lively and Gafford seemed to have decreased. Just from the eye test I feel like that messed up the chemistry.

I believe that was the point of introducing Max contracts. However, nothing stops them from getting the money and requesting a trade anyway.

He is at his lowest value since his rookie season and can easily play his way to increased value. If he gets traded, I see it happening at the deadline. He does need to go for a solid wing player though.

It really goes to show that even if you are stuck between a rock and a hard place, there's always a way out.
