I'm not so sure because 2012 is still going strong with a huge lineup of Retros still to drop: Thunder and Bred IV's, Columbia and Bred XI's, the trio or quad of IX's ect. Plus, who knows what else JB will drop in a somewhat QS fashion. I know the Thunder release wasn't really on the radar.
I know what he's referring to but I only had paint cracking after a few years and numerous wears so I wouldn't necessarily be concerned with durability. Price on the other hand.......it's quite high right now so you're almost better off making an iD version for $135. Won't be 100% accurate but...
If you do a stock locate at Footlocker or Champs, I'm sure you'll be able to find your size. I spent the past few weekends in Cali and Seattle and every store had them sitting on the shelves. Hope that helps!
Personally, I'm not a fan BUT I do respect anybody that puts the time into making something they like or have a passion for. Ultimately, it doesn't really matter what I think or anybody else on this board as long as you're feeling it.
This pricing structure is confusing as hell! I can only imagine what it's gonna be like for the store employees with a mad rush of peeps wanting to try on and check out the options.
It may be hard to tell but I'll try and take some pics compring my Eastbay Concords and Cool Greys next to the MK Breds. Regardless of any minute discrepancies that may present themselves in the pics, I'm very happy with them and rock them all the time. :)
No 9.5's. I'd be tempted to cop another DS pair if they were retail and in better condition then the ones I originally copped. Keep the new ones on ice for awhile and use these ones as day-to-day's.
If anybody is in the San Diego Horton Plaza mall area, I was on vacation last weekend and I scooped a pair of 10.5 Cool Grey's for $79.99, no coupon required. I'm not too sure what sizes are left but that price was way too good to pass up. :D
I'm most likely bowing out the Lebron X race but I am looking forward to seeing the shoe in person. The XIII's and IX's got me hooked on the Lebron line but these prices and mind blowing hype will keep me away.
I have an early pair from Mentalkicks and I'm very happy with them. With that being said, I did press down on the toe box and it wasn't very stiff so I checked on my CG's and Concords (bought from Eastbay) and the difference was marginal. The fit, quality and comfort of the shoe is just as good...
