Finally, after 7 tries (XII Playoffs at NTSF my first failure... sprinkle the MV Lebron IX and Yeezy IIs in there) I get a RSVP at Nike Las Vegas.
Great start to my vacay!
Got the Uptempos at NTSF this morning. They didnt even know they had them until I asked.
A reseller asked me if my fiance could buy him a pair for his "friend". He just got done returning Military IVs from NDC that he couldnt resell. What a lame.
The shoes are dope, I got my true size and...
I tried a pair of the black/blue + this morning at the San Diego House of Hoops grand opening...
I tried to stay true to size (12 in my case) but the forefoot is really narrow, I then tried to size up and they were too long.
The cushioning and Flywire 2 is amazing from my short experience in them.
I looked into the CT200h and test drove it to replace my Prius as a daily and since it has the same powertrain design as the Prius the braking feels exactly the same.
I drove a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and there was none of that weird brake feel with that hybrid system.
I'm mostly talking about...
I have a 2010 Prius III for a daily driver and mostly love the car.
It averages around 48MPG for me and I drive it like I stole it. I can get 55+ if i try.
The only problem I have is I have not gotten used to the brakes, which are very uneasy at times especially during emergency stops...
My fiance lived in SF for 5 years, and every other weekend I visited her so I picked up lots of releases there (I guess you can consider that vacation) NTSF usually has stock of stuff pretty late into the day, True SF and the Shiekhs on Market also never failed me.
I bought the CDP IV/XIX pack...
Some places in SD I enjoy that haven't been listed:
Brian's American Eatery in Hillcrest (breakfast all day, legit chicken and waffles)
Cafe on Park in North Park (brunch is amazing)
Urban Solace in North Park (legit spot, cinnamon roll for brunch is redic)
Bronx Pizza in Hillcrest (legit NY...
Some 545i problems (my Dad daily drives a 2005 545i):1) Steptronic transmission "hunts" at certain speed. This is a well known issue with all E60s with the step transmission. Only known temporary fix is to change the mechatronic module. This is a huge expense. You can test it by leaving car...
I DM'd within 1 minute of NikeSF's posting and haven't received any DMs back.
I am gonna be in the City this weekend so was hoping to get the Playoffs while I was there.
Hope it comes through.
The Pippen IV in the original all black colorway will be bought retail haha.
Such performance beasts on the court.
The IIs came out not too long ago in OG colors and failed, though I did pick up a couple white/red pairs for nostalgia.
These were retroed 3-4 years ago and weren't very popular. I loved them (because I had the OGs as a teenager) and doubled up on the white/royals when I saw them at my local outlet.
The price at Nordstrom Rack made me fold. I'll make myself love wearing these somehow!
SD heads, Plaza Bonita NR has 11.5 and 13 left in the black colorway. I ended up finding a 12.5 of all sizes somehow, these fit a lot better than the size 12 I tried on this past weekend.
The Shiekh's...
A G55/63/65 is my dream SUV.
Coming from a current AMG owner ('05 E55 AMG) I am more impressed when I see someone driving a G55 than any of the other high-end AMGs.
Seeing a SL65 or SLS is much more common here (in San Diego/SoCal) than seeing a G-AMG.
Though I did see a brand new matte white...
On Friday I walked into Shiekh's with my debit card already out I wanted these so bad.
Tried them on and I was severely let down, I was wearing my Free Run 2's that day and man they made the Roshe's feel like crap.
I wanted to like them so much, but for me the "wearability" wasn't there.
He speaks the truth though.
Non-specialized system admins, IT engineers, help desk are a dime a dozen and should be compensated that way.
I placed an ad for a general help desk/desktop support position and got 60 apps in one day, asking $20-25 an hour depending on experience.
In contrast we...
