I ended up sending them back. They were just too stiff for me. Cushioning was ok but not great. Shoes are extremely chunky as well. If you need something with stability there are a lot of better options out there.
Got them yesterday and wore them around the house all day today. I already like them a lot. The stability offered seems to be on par with the other max stability offerings. The cushioning is very good and springier then anything I've had before. These come on a pretty wide base, which I like...
Ordered a pair in blue today. I have pretty flat feet so I always wear stability trainers. Looking forward to seeing if these are game changers in the stability world or not.
I had the first Adistar and ended up sending them back. Unfortunately for me, that rock hard heel cup was a dealbreaker. Other than that, the cushioning was a little on the firm side but not bad, and the wide platform made them plenty stable. I can see this new one doesn't have that heel cup...
I happened to run across these, and out of sheer curiosity, I ordered a pair. Adidas Adistar CS. Supposedly a softer, more stable version of the first Adistar.
Now that I've gotten a little work in with the 3s, I'd say I still like the 1s best, then 3, then 2. Upper of the 3 is definitely a little stretchier and seems a bit more breathable than the 2s, which is good, and for me I think they felt softer right out of the box over the 2s. The 2s were...
Yup...going forward, I'd advise never to pick the Zags to win it all. Last year and this year were probably the best chances they'll ever have and they still couldn't get it done.
Granted Wisconsin overachieved this season, they were still overrated. They have absolutely nobody that can shoot consistently. When everyone's defense ratchets up in the tournament, it was only a matter of time until this ugliness reared its head.
