Burn Rubber will have these and plans on posting the remaining stock online, but with the amount of calls we are getting I doubt any make it online. Even at $200 these will take about 10 mins to sell out.
^^^ damn I forgot to quote the user before replying....... if anyone needs help with some Burn Rubber 557's hit me up late next week and I will try my best to help people out.
I like the .gif ... please be patient, on top of all the other stuff we usually ship out we had to box up about 500 additional pairs. a majority of people are getting their track# and confirmations due to the UPS system delay when we ship anything more than 100 packages. Not their fault...
Just to let everyone know a few things about production and quality. On NON collaborative releases, the "Made in the USA" or "Made in England" matters on New balances, it seems those factories use better materials (generally speaking), but with Collaborative shoes we go through 8 or 9 wear test...
nope, just speaking from past experience with other shoes they released, and being in the industry. I could be wrong and they might have an air tight system with a billion pairs to go around, but I would highly doubt it.
I didnt want to be the one to bring it up...lol... But what most people dont understand is the cart system that a company like Nike uses is expensive as hell. So us little guys use what we can afford, and unfortunately that means oversells, stock refresh is slow or even manual, refunds...
My guess is 500 packs total....thats just judging by how many sets we received.....so I am guessing there will be more than 500 people in the world willing to drop $300 these.
I tell everyone this after every limited collab release... if a store designs a shoe with NB and lets say they drop it on the 10th, the rest of the limited account retailers will get and release them exactly 2 weeks later. This is standard practice for NB.
For everyone wanting these 24 kilates, Burn Rubber will release them this saturday at 2pm on their website after releasing them in store. I will say the tan/green pair are amazing!!!
