Serious question (because I don't even know what "talent" is anymore).
Can't ESPN just find the next hype man who screams and trolls and is propped up on every show as their new expert and replace Smith at 20% his salary? Is his position not fairly interchangeable?
I guess trying to figure out...
I think you are 100% right.
Let's be real, what Lebron wants he gets. Always kinda has. The orders have been made and other teams likely know it - this is Lebron's last dream.
So I am not seeing the Lakers whatsover allowing the chance of Lebron's kid going to another team. My question has...
Yep....Someone posted in here I believe last week screen shots of ESPN all during the Finals discussing LeBron James. They are on auto-pilot, it's a rule (much like the Cowboys are the rule for FOX) - and while most of us know certain people/teams are going to be covered far more than others...
I think this league's biggest problem is probably comparable to what the PGA did with Tiger Woods - if all you do is cover one player (LeBron) and one team (Lakers) for literally 20 years over and over every single day, every minute.... you cannot be shocked if no one is watching if said player...
Such a great time back then.. Will never forget my guy Pat O’Brien cut in from spring training baseball (can’t remember the station) to say it’s official Mike is en route to the Bulls and coming back. Wait, what did you say? If one could fall off a chair…I did.
If only social media was around...
Now that we're finally getting closer to draft night, and assuming LeBron stays with LA, how is everyone seeing the Lakers pulling off getting James' kid for him? Is this going to be the final clincher when we see them have to spend a first rounder on him? Is James really going to allow the...
It's been pretty interesting (insane?) to observe from where I sit.
The media at large is obviously unpredictable, nothing they do should surprise any longer because they essentially cannibalize each other's headlines. It's all one pot of slop all day long starting at 6 AM on our TVs.
But when...

This is where I’m at. I’m even a former season ticket holder….there are just no words right now. The Minnesota Timberwolves? Huh? And media darlings? All this love? Uncharted waters here
Thanks for posting, this was a great read. For me ESPN has ruined a lot of my NBA viewing experience, the manufactured debates, and then this latest Stephen A Smith clown show yesterday before the Knicks game.
I'm excited to see what NBC comes up with for this day and age and who they are able...
LAPD tells TMZ for cases before January 2020 it's a 3 year statute of limitations -- and after January 2020, it's 5 years. In other words, there's no chance cops will dive into this specific incident for potential criminal charges at this point.
Law enforcement tells us there is no record as it...
Maybe I'm putting on my rose-colored glasses but I'm pretty sure if Nike took the steps to make the materials and shape all to spec, rolled out a little campaign, threw them on a couple celebs....almost all these 90s ones we love would move. So let's just do it and do it right.
