Just got back from Turks & Caicos. Nice place. Beaches are absolute perfection. As with most islands, everything is based around the water - from dining to day activities. Nice 4 day getaway from NYC that was only about a ~3 hour direct flight.
A few unedited shots below.
Heading to...
@Ksteezy those are 3 of my favorite breeds right there!!! Not sure what you're living situation is, but if it's apartment/city, the Frenchie and English Bulldog might be better choices than the Corgi. We are obsessed with our little girl frenchie. Very affectionate, smart and stubborn.
Afropunk has always been a great experience for me. Haven't been to Panorama yet.
Decided to grab VIP tix to Roots Picnic. Pharrell backed by The Roots, Wayne, Solange, Noname, Thundercat, Fat Joe & Scott Storch, Mobb Deep - the whole lineup is too good not to be there. See some of you out there
Better than saying there are no more drops. Went by the NYC store today - dude managing the HyperAdapt area at the SoHo store said he wasn't sure about any future reservations beyond what's already full. Not sure if he was just saying that or if he truly doesn't know.
Yea back when I started going to Roots Picnic it was only the mainstage and an indoor tent stage. The area of the full festival grounds was smaller than it currently is with a lot less people. Just a sign of the times and the popularity of festivals nowadays.
I've heard good things about...
Roots Picnic was one of my favorite festivals (I went from 2008-2011) but I wasn't a fan of my last experience (Summer 2015). Biggest problem is the lack of space and overlapping stages that were so close in proximity. S0leFUNK you already know how packed out it gets...there's nothing they can...
No, unfortunately it was booked out way in advance of when we took the trip. Didn't fully understand the dynamic of getting there and camping out there worked until it was too late.
A few shots from my recent trip to Arizona/Utah. So happy we took the time to plan and go here. We hit:
Painted Desert/Petrified Forest
Meteor Crater
Grand Canyon
Monument Valley
Antelope Canyon
Horseshoe Bend
South Coyote Buttes/White Pocket
Zion National Park
Vegas
That's the only roller coaster Ive ever been on that I've actually been terrified. Sat front row and the coaster JUST made it over the top, followed by a straight drop. I've seen videos where it just about gets to the top, but doesn't and the coaster goes backwards down to the beginning again.
LOVE Bermuda - especially for a quick getaway from NY. I've only been during Spring/Summer, but I know people that have gone in Oct/Nov. You should be good if you're looking at early October - later Oct starts getting cool and too cold to swim. Beware of the weather as it is hurricane season as...
I had the same experience. Didn't feel anything.
It was afterwards that was a little painful. Gums would bleed, soreness, eating was a pain (literally and figuratively)
