I'm 110 hours into AC Vahalla and there's no end in sight from what I can tell. It feels very similar to The Witcher 3, but the world in TW3 felt more alive and had more variety. I was fully clearing each region after completing the story for that area, but I'm at the point where I just want...
Anyone else with FIFA 21 or Madden 21 having problems with dips in frame rate/stuttering?
For FIFA, it drops right at kick off, corner kicks and anytime the ball goes out of bounds. The cut scenes are all 30 fps so it’s like the game gets stuck in 30 fps and then snaps back to 60 fps. There’s...
I’ve been enjoying the XSX so far. The console is whisper quiet and I haven’t had any problems thus far. I’ve been rotating between NBA 2K21, Cold War, War Zone and Forza Horizon 4. Cold War and War Zone @ 120 fps is a game changer and makes multiplayer shooters smooth. FH4 @ 60 fps is amazing...
I was mistaken and my tv is 120hz with Free Sync. If it’s greyed out but says enabled, does that mean it’s on? I kind of wish consoles could let us see the frames output.
Yeah, HDMI 2.1 is only to achieve 4K @ 120 fps. If your monitor/tv supports 120hz, you can output 1440p/1080p @ 120 fps.
My question is why is my console showing I can output 1440p @ 120 fps when my tv is only 60hz. Is this just a mistake?
In my display settings, the XSX shows that my 60hz television supports 1440p @ 120 fps. However, when I load up Ori and the Will of the Wisps, the game says it doesn’t detect 120 fps capability. Also with Cold War, under the game’s graphics settings, it shows the 120 fps setting as “enabled”...
So what’s the move for a new tv with HDMI 2.1?
LG CX or Smy X900H?
I believe the only games supporting 120fps are Cold War, DIRT 5 and DMCV if I’m not mistaken.
