I just told them it had been a while since I had received any discount codes, they looked me up and saw that I didn't use the SUMMER20 code last week so they generated a one time use 15% code that doesn't expire until 12/29/17. It was pretty simple.
It does look like a cut, it's right below the seam, it ripped the outer part of the shoe but there is still an inner lining that prevents your toes from going through. I didn't even notice it until I looked down after finishing the walking lunges, like I said, I would bet most other pairs would...
Yeah, I figured they'd be ok for certain workouts, and to wear casually, I probably just got a pair with crap quality, I would be most people won't have an issue. I did a chat with a rep and did get a 15% off code since I cannot replace the shoes.
Yeah I already contacted them, going to bring them to my local Nike store. Only problem is they have no size 14's in stock, or any size for that matter.
Maybe they'll give you store credit or a gift card? That's nuts if they wouldn't let you return them, especially if you were not able to try them on prior to purchasing them.
I'm in the same boat as you, at worst if they sell out in your size you'll probably be able to find em' on craigslist or eBay for around retail or less down the line.
