Whites are pretty nice but just not nice enough to buy. Nike keeps missing out on the chance to make that diagonal stripe a different colour than the rest of the upper. If the stripe was silver it would really make the shoe pop and it wouldn't be so damn plain! Same problem on the BHM too.

Nice to see the return of the HWC.......the crowns on both straps is nice IMO. Unfortunately no real close ups so far besides that first pic Jb33 posted.

Good point.........I can't figure out why they didn't make the diagonal stripe gold. It's a small detail but would really make a difference. Why only have that little strip of gold on the midsole?!

The hex zoom pods are looking thicker than the ones used in the 12 and 13s, so hopefully they're more responsive. Any initial reviews or opinions from those fortunate enough to get a pair........CLE4LIFE or anyone else?

It's an interesting subject because it's not something I've really considered before, but if I had to guess on the most expensive materials used on a LeBron, I'd go with the V, which is ironic, because it's usually mentioned among the least popular Bron sigs. I'm just basing my guess on the V's...

I'm liking the looks of them so far, but I'm wondering how pliable the fuse is on the upper, assuming it is fuse. Creasing is inevitable, but I just hope it doesn't bunch up too badly. Let's also hope the release pairs don't have the glue visible at the end of the strap as well, like the ones...

Thanks for this.......it actually gives me some reasonable hope for this model. I wonder if Nike has even finished designing the 14 Elite yet? Whatever the case, I hope someone (preferably a new designer) has started seriously planning the 15 already.

Yep.......the simplicity of the upper definitely has an UA vibe, can't deny it......at least the white ones. For casual appeal they're a little bit underwhelming, but I am interested in seeing how they feel, especially that Kurim upper. I can see that carbon fibre irritating my ankle though...

Really depends what you see yourself wearing more often. I didn't buy either pair, but I'd probably lean towards the pot of gold. Although the Balance do look nicer in person than I thought they would.

I'm anxious to see more pics of the burgundy lows.......I'm hoping the colour is dark like those in the professional pics. If so, count me in for a pair. But I'm afraid they'll be lighter like the amateur snap above. In which case I'll be on the fence. Whatever the case, it's hard to go wrong...

Pretty much..........maybe it's just psychological, but because the upper on the 72-10 Is thicker and plush, it feels like a nicer, snugger fit than other recent XI's. But that's just me....

I'm not really concerned all that much much about the direction of the Jumpman, or whether it's blue or purple, or whether the tongue tab has 'JAM' on it. Those are interesting aesthetic details I guess, but all I truly care about is the comfort and quality of these. Sometimes quality...

Yep........my IX Home Elites and Freegums are still pristine. In fact, I've never had a LeBron that's yellowed. Although the soles and plastic portions from a few Jordans of the early 2000's have gone yellow.
