No experience? Do you know where he lives and trains? I think he has a lot of experience of hills but he is faster on flat courses. He needs ”a rhytm” to run fast.
I never thought he would wear AF3. Why he would wear a shoe that you can’t buy before spring 2024? ”Smaller” athletes like Nell Rojas can wear what they want but Kipchoge ”sells” a lot of shoes. Kipchoge will probably make money out of the AF2 EK version. And he already ran WR with the shoe so...
I guess the video I posted is now private. I can still see it though.
Here is what I have found from various sources:
+ Softer foam (ZoomX+)
+ Better outsole grip
+ Lighter upper
+ More stack height (8mm drop?)
+/- Similar weight as Next%2
+/- More stable platform (but also softer and less...
Ben Parkes: Invincible 3

The shoe was released in Asia 1-2 weeks ago so RunningShoeGeeks (Reddit) is full of first impression reviews. Mostly negative but some people seem to like it.
I didn't mean you. ;) Instagram is full of "influencers" like Ben Johnson saying the shoe is the best thing since sliced bread when "normal runners" are sending their Inv3 back because of the heel slipping. They will probably have an upper update with a better heel lock down (for Inv4) so they...
Most of the reviews I have seen of Invincible 3 have been negative. Of course Nike affiliate influencers are hyping these. The shoe is heavier (30g) than versions 1-2. Many people are experiencing some very serious heel slipping. The shoe is more stable but less exciting.
”Which Asics are you running 1500 miles in without destroying every joint and bone in your leg????”
Asics Glideride 2. Also Kayano and other Asics stability shoes are really durable (AHAR rubber + Flytefoam). Most of the Asics shoes are boring but built like a tank. You get bored before you...
