Your perspective is duly noted, yet I find myself respectfully at odds with it. There's an underestimation, I believe, of the pivotal role played by the Chiefs' defense in containing the Niners, holding them "at bay," so to speak.
That blocked kick, emblematic of the game's turning tide...
What makes it even more nebulous is why they felt the need to over value a procession over game clock lol
So what does this mean? We’re going to play games based off a certain number of processions now?
Yall are just hating on Romo now. I thought he did a fine job. He did a great job calling the end of OT, and covering Jim Nantz *** for not knowing KC won the SB. He legitimately thought they had to play another “quarter.”
Romo did a great job closing it out and phasing into the post-game ceremony
What an entertaining game!
I cannot recall the last time I’ve seen a Super Bowl game featuring a historically great defensive performance vs. one of greatest QB performances of all time.
Pat Mahomes took that game away from SF.
It's a shame to see JVG being let go. I especially enjoyed him during NBA games. He always gave the casual fan the "technical" perspective of the game. Never really like Mark Jackson and his takes.
Not sure if this is true or not, but from what I'm reading about this new CBA--There's going to be a lot of player movement, and a lot of these guys are going to get traded for practically nothing. Kind of makes sense why we saw so many lopsided trades last season.
Although, something tells me...
Off topic: Certain reporters were saying “…the rules are changing…”
Could someone provide context? I know there’s a flopping rule which will be trialed in Summer League.
Let's be honest with ourselves.
LeBron wants that farewell tour, and he rightfully deserves one. He's not retiring, yet.
I have a strong feeling, he will retire after playing with his son for a season.
LeBron deserves a proper sendoff. It’s not in his style to retire abruptly. He’s going to keep playing until he gets to play with his son for a year. Everyone knows this.
AD is a tremendous mismatch for GS. There’s literally no one who can check him. Warriors only shot would be to play a zone. That little run they had came from some zone.
How do they let DS go for 19? I know he had 10 FTA, but damn.
How the heck did GS only shoot 5 FT’s?
Lakers got called for 12 fouls
Warriors got called for 24 fouls
I knew the Lakers lead the league in free throw differential by ~+350, but this was crazy to see.
Warriors could’ve gotten a better shot at the end. Curry does this often during the end of...
