I never got on with the SB2's. Felt blocky and kinda dead to me, gave up on them after about 80 miles. SB3's are much much better in that regard, still a touch big with the geometry and the heel is slightly clunky but FF Leap changed the character so much for the better.

Velocity is more of a daily trainer that can do uptempo. This has Puma's better foam from the Deviate and is significantly lighter, though I agree it could cannibalize Velocity sales being only $10 more.

Hyperwarp Elite is a banger-very cool to see Mizuno with a legit super shoe. Performance felt on par with the Asics Metaspeed shoes, which is amusing because they look similar and seemingly share the same upper. The Mizuno is a touch firmer and more stable as a result

I know elites are next level but someone using the Takumi Sen for a full marathon blows my mind. I'd probably take my pair for a maximum of 10 miles.

It's far better than any of the boring daily trainers like the Saucony Ride, which is almost the same price and doesn't offer nearly the versatility of the Azura. Bang for the buck is off the charts with this shoe, I think it'll gather hype as more runners try it.
