sniped a pair of the GTS Return....very excited about these
btw, i started using forward2me for reshipping. has anyone used this company and are there any companies that others have used and proven to be quality?
this dumb ***. welp, in the industry this is what is called a "trading signal" because prices going to go even further to the moon so now is a good time to sell
btw, RIP catching any infras with the "in-store only, FCFS, one pair per" thing on top of Nike wack *** distribution scheme. it's...
So, truck-its were a January GR, safaris are hitting Australia and being sold, infrareds are releasing in skateshops on the 20th and the strangelove dunks and the travis scott's are supposed to be early February????
That's 5 goddamned dunk lows being released within the first ~40 days of this...
these are pretty dope but turns out looks to be super limited with shops getting exactly 1 pair per size at best. some shops just got like 10 pairs total. love the colors and extra lace packs. was hoping for the new QS box but unfortunately they come in the old teal/black QS box
think of the implications. if you have a pic of you and your family up and you're wearing dunks with a visible swoosh it appears that they can make a claim and have it removed
a breach of contract/NDA isn't illegal. that's a civil matter. nike made a trademark claim on the pic because of the swoosh. they didn't make a claim on the material because of how it was obtained
one of my current colleagues worked at ticketmaster around this time and was involved in them making their own resale platform or whatever. he has some good input about all this. i'll hit him up
edit: here's the drop from a guy that was involved in it:
not true at all which is why things like Amazon's Mechanical Turk exist
edit: here's a small example of an event 2 days ago....rukus makes an IG post about truck-it lows in stock and taking phone orders. no website update showing new stock. tell me how you automate this.
can't remember where i heard this but someone posted that the material is tear-away with pink swoosh underneath....take this with a grain of rumor salt
AFAIK the truck-its are the January GR. They have just been arriving in some shops early. What I'm concerned about is that the Travis Scott's and the Valentine's will likely be dropping in the same week. That's going to be out of control.
edit: my bad, read that wrong
"It is through the NCX that the company is feeding its 2X Innovation and 2X Speed initiatives."
This is Nike following the "Fast Fashion" trend. Consolidating the retailers is just a move to increase brand value while trimming the fat at the same time. Good article.
yeah, i'd be interested to hear the reasoning behind this if possible. wondering if it's due to malfeasance or just not able to keep their numbers up each year
interested in if nike is using the new QR codes and RFID chips in the shoe boxes to track where product goes after primary delivery
question every rumor. people use rep to spread spurious info or disinformation all the time in the finance game. the shoe game. the shoe game is now following that arc
