Getting me all nostalgic for the Flyknit days.

Recently started strength training myself, and it's starting to help. Out of curiosity, is there a plan you follow?

    Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

Wonder if you get polka dot sunburns wearing those without sunscreen or if they shift around enough from body movement.

Four pairs later, I've identified the problem. There is some tackiness from the soles, but there's also a quality control issue with the insoles. They're not glued down properly on 2.5 pairs (one pair the left is fine, but the right makes the noise).

Even on carpet? With my Zegamas, its with every step, no matter the surface.

Anyone else getting some sticky sounding noises from their ACG Zegamas? I ordered two pair, and both sound like I'm walking on a sticky floor. I think it's the glue used to adhere the insole to the midsole.

Thanks! Picked up the cream and white/orange ones.

Where are the new Zegama's available? NDC still says "coming soon."

They are nowhere near as comfortable as a modern running shoe. It's pretty clear they're a retro, but because they use ReactX, they're better than the usual retro fare and I'll probably keep a pair. But it's still a pretty flat, featureless slab of foam, relatively speaking.

Son of Terra Sertig. I'm going to have a hard time not buying several colorways.

Huh, sure enough. Maybe it was from the seam down the outside of the heel? Whatever it was it didn't feel great on the one I got.

Did they fix the seam in the heel? The original had one running right down the middle, and it gave me the quickest blister I've ever had, right at the base of the Achilles.

Chances are the Lava Loft would have been a Nike Trail piece before the merge. If it's slim, it definitely seems made for running or layering.

Nike Air Pegasus ALL NEW MODELS 30, 31, 32 and up

Completely agree about NBY being nerfed. Used to have good colors and combos to choose from. Now...meh. Has me missing the Flyknit days.

Glad to hear they're giving a bit more room in the toe box on the Zegama. I found the Zegama 2 to be pretty good, certainly better than the 1 (which was too low across the toe). That's actually been one of my biggest problems with Nike Trail (now ACG) shoes in recent years — the upper was too...

Something about the Zegama got my ACG memory jogging. Took me until this morning to figure it out. The midsole accent from the side resembles the Terra Sertig, one of my favorite ACG silhouettes from back in the day.

Nike Air Pegasus ALL NEW MODELS 30, 31, 32 and up

I found the fit of the 5 GTX to be really uneven. Some pairs would be just fine TTS (I'm a 9.5), while others fit like a 9 in terms of length. I've got one pair in 10 and another in 9.5. The ten fits large, while the 9.5 is perfect (though I went through probably 3 pairs before finding one that...

The Zegama midsole feels stiffer and more responsive, if that makes sense. A bit more bounce when you come down on it, whereas React tends to feel a bit softer (at least in those variants). The Zegama 2 has been one of my favorite Nikes in a while. Great upper, solid Vibram sole, and responsive...

Gore-tex running shoes get very, very hot. Unless you're running in cold weather, you want your feet to breathe otherwise it'll be blister city. Better to get wet in the rain and have them drain than be trapped in sweat.
