Yes. I’ve had to use thicker socks to prevent it from rubbing my heel. I’m hoping that area will wear out eventually.

Unfortunately mine is the type that’s pretty smooth so even rubbing doesn’t change the nap.

Is this a common issue with Shadows? Heel and middle panel of nubuck are a darker shade of gray than the toe area.

Just received mine from the SNKRS drop. 9.5 Made in Vietnam. Unfortunate it’s not as good as can be but never got the OG as a kid and I’m sure not waiting another 10 years for them to release again.

Yeah people should post their pairs after they’ve worn them. I think the right shoe of my shock drop pair had the similar to OG shape that people want but after I wore my pair it immediately lost the sleek toe box.

Yeah we can’t settle for the amount we’re paying but still gotta keep expectations in check since they’re mass produced shoes. Just have to find one we’re happy with.

I’d say those are more than decent. Type of leather matches, elephant print same on both and not too high, and it has the sleek toebox. Definitely keep for me.

Returned my shock drop pair with the matte leather and was able to find a pair yesterday that matched all around. Good thing stock is plentiful this time as I had to live with mismatched leather on my 2018.

Here is my shockdrop pair. Looks like they used some of the leftover matte leather on mine:lol: I don’t know if I should be happy that they matched up these pairs well that they used matte leather on both the medial panels for the top lace hole while the rest use the typical leather.

I'm pretty sure you can exchange at a store. I'd say check out other pairs to find one acceptable to you but I doubt you'd find one without some glue stain at the seams. I saw four different pairs before finding one I liked but it still had some light stains.[/IMG]

Call me weird, but I actually prefer when my shoes start to crease. I don't like the fresh out the box look.

My pair's the same on one side. Don't sweat it

Nothing like that on my pair. I had to break in the shoes a little to feel comfortable in the toes because it felt stiff and it still does. I guess that's the trade-off.

What size did you get? I got TTS and I have no heel lift but it feels a little snug on the toes.

I did this too and I agree. 9s fit just right in terms of length but narrow while the Space Jam has a tiny bit more room in the toe area.

Cool! Thanks man. I just wasn't sure. I know any other pair I get will have its own issues so I can deal with most JB inconsistencies.

Would you guys consider these defects exchange worthy or would most pairs be like this even if I exchange it? The right tongue is shorter than the other. It also doesn't align with the black trim on the sides. Bottom pic is left pair which aligns nicely.
