Interesting shoe. It's like 1.0 v2. The knit vent holes are wider. The tongue material is slightly different and more padded. The cage is that soft silicone style introduced w 3.0. But it definitely has the mesh heal and the fit is pretty snug around the collar like a 1.0 IMO

Damn, mine don't look like that. Just looks like a very faint glitter on top of the black but no discoloration. I've worn my bred prob over 10-20 times. I think my royals have it too. I doubled up on Royals and don't see any glitter on the stocked pair though so I don't think it's oxidization.
