Thanks for this. I'm really curious how those straps work. Heel lock down has always been good on the Rose model, so there isn't too much need for improvement there. I wonder if it helps with stability while allowing for the Boost to be more "unleashed" so to speak.

I'm not sure if it's meant for elite athletes though. Usually, elite athletes will sacrifice cushion for weight, hence why a lot of marathon runners are super light and somewhat thin in cushioning. They can take the beating on their feet in order to get as fast of times as possible.

If there was lateral stability, you'd have a heavier shoe. Good thing is that with running, you pretty much are moving in a straight line path. So since it's a running shoe, you shouldn't expect much, if any lateral stability. If you're looking for boost with lateral stability, maybe the RGIII...

Pretty sure that's if the boost capsules are colored before fusing them together to create the midsole, not painting the exterior of an already manufactured boost midsole (which would likely result in cracking anyways).
