It's a play on marketing and we fall for it time after time- limited supply and a hyped up backstory.
But this is what we can expect from Nike basketball going forward, unbranded Kobe models and probably around that $120~ price range.
Are people really knocking her for wearing nike KOBE's? Those shoes do bear her late husband's name. And so what if she's still wearing Nike's? She's not hating on the brand, she still pushing for it to happen (I presume). And despite no more contractual relationship, it's not like she's going...
Now I wonder is dialogue between two parties done done? Will there be follow up talk? Re-negotiate?
I feel like they put the news out there just to see how fans react, how the market will react.
Because the ball is in Nike's court.
I believe Vanessa is fighting for fans AND she's...
I have an age old question, for those people who've unloaded a good chunk of their collection (not resell) and used StockX, GOAT AND Ebay...

Meanwhile, I...
Sad to see Ateaze go. I won some of THEE best raffles at their PTC location. Also goes to show it's hard for smaller stores to make it (let alone this pandemic). RIP to the ones who couldn't make it. Salute to the ones still standing.
I don't believe the Kobe 5 Bruce Lee Alternate drop was a mistake but rather intentional. It's like how in US they have those 'shock drops'. It's all marketing, they open that little window, and whoever sees them and gets them are the 'lucky ones' then they pull them back or the inventory gets...
Even discounts for Jordan Retros at the outlets aren't the same. Used to be 30% off ($179 for regular $255).
Exclucity discounts were nice. I remember 50% off for Aj8 and Aj13 Black Red.
