Agreed.  I had two pairs of UB's and returned both (all white and black/purple).  I always tell people that a pair of good ol' huaraches feel just as comfy if not comfier in my opinion.  Just as heavy too, hah. Footscape Magistas and Flyknit Lunar Chukka's are also other shoes that are comfier...

Interesting.  I feel like the Pure Platinums felt more snug than the Obsidian SP's.   I'm right in between sizes, so I can comfortably go with either an 11.5 or 12 in Flyknit Racers.  Trainers I must go 12.  Probably b/c of the padded liner. Free Mercurial Obsidian SP's, I can do 11.5, but...

I actually go TTS on Racers.  Very slightly snug at first, like a pair of new socks, but after breaking in and with the Flyknit stretching, they fit great, with or without socks.  Sorry if that throws a wrench in everyone's sizing research, haha.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I think the platinums are great, especially as a base shoe for simple customs.  I bought these with the full intention of painting the heel and possible the sock liner.  I did a couple ROUGH mock ups, with a black or obsidian sock, black heel, laces...

I'm in between 11.5/12. I can wear 11.5 in flyknit racers. I feel like all shoes with the free technology run more snug for me.  Ideally I would have gone with a 12, but 11.5 is all that had which is fine. To answer your question though, go 12.5 to be safe.
