I used Crep. Why would you be hesitant? These products have never discolored any of my shoes. I use a similar product to Crep on my suede dress shoes which are very expensive with no hesitation. I would do the same thing with Crep.

Doubt people will be able to flip the hat for any more than $50. There will be many available and not a huge market for just the hat. So I would not factor in being able to flip the hat for much into you calculations on how much these will cost you.

Understood, but a lot of people not going to get the information today and tomorrow and that is going to create chaos on Saturday at the FCFS places. Think this is going to be a mess in NYC - even though there are going to be lots of pairs.

FTL launch locator is up. A lot of places in NYC FCFS - why? i liked some of the places last year did guaranteed tix week before and then day of release was hassle free - think JB messed them up with timing this year.
