Subbed.
Have 2 pairs of the '18s (1 retired, the other currently in rotation).
Will be nice (and preferred) to have the '24 BC in the WC3 Reimagined setup.
Kind of surprised SNKRS (Manila) releasing these via Draw. Other boutique shops releasing them FCFS this morning (in store, Atmos and Commonwealth) and online (Commonwealth, sold out online).
Foot Locker supposedly releasing these later this week but I don't trust them.
Agree also on Foamer, also an OG. Also Kustoo (Jacques Slade) - pretty much most of the OG Sneaker Youtubers who went and played at MJ's house back in 2015 (?) are the ones I hold of value.
Sean Go is good to watch to see "glamour shots" of kicks, but I usually don't listen to what he has to...
...and don't get me started on KicksSniper or SniperKicks (whatever his IG and youtube handles are). I muted/blocked that account after seeing one of his reels.
Agreed. Nightwing keeps it totally honest and real and only mentions resale when he mentions that he bought them for resale in order to review. NW lived and first hand experienced the OG Jordans and Golden Era of Nike Basketball, which is something that can't be beaten.
Seth on the other hand...
Has there been any correlation done as to the QC issues on where the shoes were made (Vietnam, China, Indonesia, etc) and how significant the "defects" are?
I also say GOOD also. 3s arent really moving likely because the 3s arent as hyped right now compared to the 1s (worldwide speaking), and also the last true chicago 1s from 2015 were really limited overseas. Not to mention the whole 2015 Nike online cancelation of the Chicago 1s in the US and...
Got my pair in hand and they look amazing with none of that "QC issues".
Speaking of which, just to stir the topic along, I'm curious as to the factory code, location, and production dates on your pairs:
Both my Right and Left shoes:
Made in Vietnam
Factory Code VM1
Dates: 8/24/2022 -...
Also going all in for this release, 1 pair needed but wont say no to 2 pairs. Agree that these will mainly be an OG-Head Battle Royal, whereas the L&F 1s was more like the full on Royal Rumble, no thanks to the hype.
