I found my Avenue leather 93/16s disappointing in that the leather just never softened up like I thought it would. Not sure if others found that, but it left me underwhelmed. I did purchase at massive disco though.

No Sh*t. These are almost 30 years old. The sole is not comfortable by modern shoe standards, and it's kind of silly to even make that comparison. But they are great for their day, and the upper is very comfy.

It definitely won't happen, but I could go a pair of these. Circa 2011 from memory. Seems like whenever they've done a leather 180 the result has been unreal (opium etc). The Atomic Mangos were pretty cool too.

Agreed. Opium's had leather on the uppers right, and they look awesome. I would have thought something like that was a no brainer for a 'premium' colab.

Package just arrived form social status. Definitely TTS. No obvious defects so quality is fine (for an inherently lower quality retro). I think price on these was a little high, but they're one of my all time favourite shoes so I'll pay the money and beat them bad.
