if these are the apricots then it's the filter, they don't look that great at all, from what i saw on ebay 

you need something with really soft bristles, like hair, not nylon..

IMO the GL3's are more comfortable, they also feel more supportive than the V's, however the V's are a bit softer in the midsole and I think you'll find more ppl find them comfier than the GL3's. Personal opinion really, but both are good. Liquidproof is good.

Yes you are spot on. The good collabs being the most comfortable, suede GR's are generally good, lower priced GR's can tend to be a bit stiffer. I love them all tho, it's my favourite midsole, but they scale in comfort level just like your explaining, which would have to be dictated by materials...
