that was great thanks Richie. didn't know the numbers were originally based off price. I thought the number system was so no emotion was tied to a specific model by giving them names. also didn't know you were so high on the v3. the Steven smith episode was really cool too.

Levi's, Patagonia, carhartt and champion is 75% of my closet. champion mesh reversible basketball shorts, eastern mountain sports 10" swim trunks with the lining cut out, kuhl hiking shorts from rei, reverse weave champion sweatpants, Levi's 501 and 505 twill pants, lee dad jeans in colored denim.
the 670 and 1300 def look similar as both came out around 1985. 670 has a flat outsole almost no traction. 1300 has stitching around the tongue--670 doesn't. 577 has the pronounced plastic ankle piece and doesn't have that extra mesh panel in front of the N that's on the 1300 and 670.
yeah anything that came out after the 999 (990v2 and later) with the webbing are def ugly. the thing is in grey its the ultimate workhorse shoe. you can go running in them or wear them for a night out. the grey just goes with everything
I know sort of an odd comparison I've just been surprised by how many people don't like the Levi's and how much people are lusting for a grey GR dad shoe. sedans and SUVs are both types of cars though so there is something in common
yeah what a 180. as far as dad models becoming popular there was one dude on here who was really into 993's when I started coming around here in 2014. he was on that wave way before east
