If prices are too good to be true, chances are that it is. Another thing that some people comment about the fake/rep fragments is that the fragment logo is embossed really really deep. As for the MSRP, depending on the country the seller bought them, not all countries have the MSRP.
The black pairs are so hard to find now, even used pairs people asking for ridiculous prices. Another reason why is that they have the HTM letters and that naturally inflates prices by a few hundred. Guess I will try to stay patient and keep hunting.
The white/creme pair has already been released at some stores in EU but the US release seems to be in June 20th. For people asking for crazy prices on these, I predict it will be similar to those AJ1 NYC's that were supposedly quite "limited" lol. The price will settle around 800-900 I think.
Yea, and plus tax in NYC makes things quite expensive. Also to warn you China may have a lot of stock left but the prices are pretty high as well. BAPE is already promoting their next collab with ALIFE. Think I'm gonna pass on that.
Yea was quite expensive but the quality was on point and now the resale is through the roof. I bought the hoodie to go with the Jordan Pinnacles haha. But since the BAPE black collection was the first line, all the stuff was made in Japan not China so the quality was a lot better.
Actually they did a release for the 9th anniversary for HK but the collection didn't look as good haha. One thing I'm kind of frustrated with BAPE is that their quality seems to be decreasing steadily. The only recent release I was happy with the quality was the BAPE black release. I only got...
Haha that's why the stock left in each country differs. Initially I thought people wanted the Big Sean and Kid Cudi releases the most so I went a little to check it out. When the store opened, not many people wanted it. The most popular tee was actually the plain 10th NYC anniversary one. Also...
Cool, I'll let you know people in HK weren't that crazy for this collection. My friend who works at the BAPE store said the Sesame street release was a lot crazier.
Thanks! Yea I did, found them locally in HK after months and months of searching. These were definitely one of the hardest sneakers to track down in that size specifically.
Just had the NYC 10th Anniversary release in HK last week. There all the popular tees were still available and the lineup was really small too. No tax is a huge plus to buying in HK. I'm guessing the Kid Cudi and Big Sean collection were the hot items.
Good to hear that more NT'ers are getting their fragments. Like BoostHog mentioned, the quality does vary a bit per pair. Sometimes the frag logo is embossed really lightly on the right pair, or sometimes the leather is a little wrinkled, and I have seen a pair where the stitching went around 1...
