    OFFICIAL NIKE Outlet/Website/Store UPDATE THREAD

I remember scoring multiple pairs of B-Grade Olympic 7s (for $69.99) from a store in Wisconsin because of this thread. Called them, asked if they ship.....a few days later had several pairs at my front door. The good old days.

I saw that the 35 1.4 Sigma ART got a huge price drop. It’s now $650, and I’m debating on pulling the trigger. Anyone who shoots with Sony Alpha cameras have any feedback? I’ve read that AF isn’t as good.

Sold my 50mm 1.8 FE to someone locally and picked up the 55mm Zeiss. You do get what you pay for. At the moment, making changes to my set up. Right now, only own 3 primes ( 28/2, 55/1.8, 85/ 1.8) and the wide angle converter for the 28. Next I’m thinking the Sigma 20/1.4 & 135/1.8 ART lenses...

Well have to see how those respective offerings from Canon & Nikon are received. I do expect there to be some bumps in the road. Canon has been doing mirrorless for some time with mixed results. Maybe a FF entry from them will get people interested.

They both have a lot of ground to make up. I read someplace that Sony has overtaken Nikon for second place amongst full framed cameras, with Canon in their sights (realistic or not, Sony is making a very aggressive push, especially the last few years). As consumers, its always good to see these...

Ive been saving in anticipation of the announcement......gonna keep saving, sell my A7 eventually. Ill have a solid body setup then (A7III & A7II....along with an RX100V as a "sidearm"). Sony just upped the ante. Canon & Nikon need to go back to the drawing board.

I used to be really bad with the post processing OD. Over the years I’ve learned that less is more. On another note, so at this moment I have an A7 & A7ii, was thinking of adding an RX100 (mark iii & up) as a “sidearm” for when my camera is in the bag and can’t get it out the bag fast enough...

As for video would use the a6300 exclusively for that. I’ll have enough money for 2 bodies and 2 lenses. I need to round out some things. I’ve been doing paid sidework without backup bodies for the last year or so......with a number of weddings & christenings coming in the spring I don’t want...

Great stuff from everyone....I been missing in action, but I have some stuff to share shortly. I noticed Sony has given rebates to a lot of stuff again. At $1099, and no word on the A7 III in sight, I may just pull the trigger and get the A7II, and possibly an A6300 (Lately Ive been very...

I may have to do some more homework, seems sketchy and I’m my eagerness to participate.....I may have missed something. I’ll look into it further into it. They have an office on Broad Street in the city. I may contact them directly to find out the deal. My fault for posting this, just saw...

For all my Sony Alpha shooters in the NYC Area, I found this thread in Reddit’s SonyAlpha subreddit. I’ll be participating. I already got my phone call, will be doing an in-house interview and focus group discussion. They will pay $350 to participants. If anyone’s interested hit [email protected].

Making a switch is different for everyone. I was shooting on a 70D for the last 3 years, and decided I wanted to make the jump to FF. I finally did by purchasing a 6D Mark II, but I was underwhelmed to be honest so I returned it. I started playing around with the A7 in Best Buy one day, so I...

When you consider the 24-70 F4 is $1198 thats a great TBH. I'm just hoping that it isnt as soft at 105 as the 24-70 is at 70.

Yeah I just saw the reductions. I think they are good for another 10 days. I just paid for a trip to Athens next April in full (flight and hotel right in the heart of Syntagma Square for under $1000 so I jumped on it), so hopefully there are some reductions early 2018. What’s funny is that...

I wasn’t as invested in Canon like many others here, however I don’t regret making the switch. I’m happy with my current setup (A7, 28/F2, 55/F1.8, 85/F1.8) but looking to pick up that second body. The A7R3 looks like a beast, but it’s out of my budget. I’m hoping that we’ll see some price...

Random late night mission I decided to go on with a couple of friends. Snuck into the Seaview Farm Colony (Staten Island, NY). It was pitch black, and shot most of these with the Samyang 14mm 2.8. A lot of these aren't as sharp as I would like and for whatever reason I pumped the ISO between...
