I hope you're right, but Nike rarely improves things in any big way. That said, I could see them doing unexpectedly positive things with this outlet-bound release compared to a more popular one...that's also their way...ugh.
That's disappointing to hear. If they're not comfortable, I'm out. Was thinking they'd be cushy (and cool looking) house slippers, but they've gotta have some cushion.
The "salesman" isn't ignoring you; they just have zero people skills and don't know how to communicate in real life. They should probably just post a QR code that you can scan to initiate a chat session with the salesman standing 5 feet from you...heh.
Realistically, if they're an hourly...
It's an interesting feel b/c while the side wall support is rock hard, I can feel the unit compressing when I walk and they feel very similar to the Red BB 1s. I like to see the compression (in the mirror), but really, these wear very comfortable for me, and since this is an OG feature, I'm good.

Hopefully not. I offloaded my '18s before the broader ebayer figures out these are rereleasing. Still a risk that the new version is not desirable.
I bet people shopping at consignment stores aren't in-the-know, and shop owners know this. And if it's consignment, don't they just give them back...
Does anyone know the history around why the retros until this one had grey wings? Even the military blacks and What The's have grey wings as though that's how the shoe was meant to me. We now know (and some of you probably knew this all along) that OGs were white. How the heck did the grey wings...
Offloaded mine a couple weeks ago when these were confirmed coming back and non-reimagined. Hope they're as easy to get as expected. These are a must, and it's a bit sad to not have them on hand as they were in full time rotation.
Update on my sit'n. Since I started offloading unneeded sneakers in 2023, I've now gotten rid of 34 sneakers, and down to 43. Honestly don't see myself getting below that as I deem the rest of the collection "essential" to keep my content. I did offload my '18 BC3s and will repurchase the new...
Yeah, I just ran out of that; it was also my go-to for years. When hunting for that I came across the one I posted above. That's one of the OG brands for stuff like this so I feel comfortable with it. They all require 2 coats; at least the ones I've used. I think the newer sneaker related brands...
This seems to perform better than the crep protect or other sneaker branded products that mark-up for hype.
