When his racial makeup was first questioned, he could've said from the get go whether his dad was in fact black or not. Instead, for the past few days, he's been going off on these long-winded diatribes without directly answering his question. First he said his family makeup was complicated...
So rather than directly just answering the question whether his father was in fact black, he outs his mom as a cheater and claims he was told his dad was black?
"Following the 2010 Haiti earthquake, King raised $540,000 for relief that was designated to build the Miriam Center, a home for disabled Haitian orphans. Miriam Center indicated they had received $200,000"

There's no dispute his mom is white...it's the race of his dad that isn't clear. Shaun King himself has been pretty evasive in his responses to that question - instead saying that all of his siblings have different fathers.
Well, things just got interesting...
Shaun King is indeed white, say family members who confirmed to Breitbart and CNN yesterday that the activist has misled the world about his racial identity.
CNN’s Don Lemon told viewers that he had spoken to a family member who told him King is caucasian...
His racial background shouldn't discredit his work regarding police brutality and white supremacy. However, it certainly raises a question as to his personal experiences with racism growing up - like in the case of Rachel Dolezal.
^ that's what I took away from it. You have the super powerful and rich at the top, who pit the lower status whites against blacks. As an aside, I think a lot of lower class whites who are racist are ignorant to the fact that they're being fed this illusion of superiority.
I think the point that really resonated with me is how the media (which is owned by the rich) sells conflict, not the truth in an effort to divide the lower economic classes.
Don't let the title fool you - I think everyone should really watch the video as it reveals a 3-tier caste system that actually exists in this country today.
Here's a season recap so far for those that might be confused of the various plotlines:
• 1992 – Casper was an accountant for the police and during riots he arranged a robbery of a jewelry store of valuable blue diamonds that resulted in the two children of the store owners being orphaned and...

What's funny is that you're accusing me of being a SWS, all the while claiming to be more cognizant of how society and prejudice works over a black man despite the fact that you're Filipino. Is your mom Rachel Dolezal by any chance?
Wait..what? So you, being a Filipino, is suggesting that the author of the book, who is black, is in fact anti-black based on what YOU think are the implications of the article?
Did you even READ what was posted? The author of the book, who is BLACK, wasn't ignoring the injustices faced by blacks nor was he excusing improper police behavior. So I don't know what YOU think he's trying to imply. Read specifically, the below from the interview:
The book is subtitled...

I agree that the whole situation is completely messed up, and also think the officer is the one who escalated the situation resulting in an improper arrest of Sandra Bland.
However, while I do think that the circumstances surrounding her death are odd, I haven't seen any concrete evidence to...
What do you find so funny? Because Sandra Bland shouldn't have been arrested in the first place means we should automatically assume she was murdered? The alleged editing of the dashcam video has absolutely nothing to do with what happened afterwards while she was in jail. Unless the video...
I'm curious to hear what others think about this too. Although there weren't any cameras inside the cell, there were cameras immediately outside the cell and the adjourning room. Unless there's footage of someone going in and out of the cell shortly before she was found dead, which I don't...
