How tf does LeBron have 21+ signature shoes. Can't believe he's still around.. it's insane (in a good way). Feels like he's been here forever, and probably has another season or so in him.
Bonkers.
So I played a full game (44mins) with these on, and they are fantastic.
No broke in time required. I felt confident on hard-lateral moves, and the traction was excellent on a semi-dusty court - a few wipes throughout the game and you're money.
The only issue I found was that the top...
Will do.
I failed to mention the out-rigger on the Precision 6 is next level. I could've sworn the folks over at Beaverton used the mould of the Kobe 5 with 20% changes to make this model 'different'
I keep umming and ahhing about the NXXT Gens and Cut 2s. I've tried both in store, but I just...
Late post, but picked up a pair of Precision 6.
Haven't balled in them yet, but so far the rigorous at-home testing results should equate to decent on-court testing
There's minimal cushioning, really great court feel and no heel-slippage whatsoever. Step in comfort is great.
Excited...
Hoping these will be legit performance wise.
It’s a wicked move by Nike to have a female sneaker be available for men. Usually it’s the other way around.
Completely off topic - but Ja has no mid range, right? Or he's yet to develop one. Seems like he's reckless when he's in the lane and not a good type of game for longevity.
That said he's a walking highlight real.
Similar to the NXT 360? Save for the top loaded zoom unit.
The NXT360 are one of my all time fav shoes. Back when court feel and weight were second to none. Unfortunately the traction sucked.
I think you've nailed it. Kobes/Protro's have a perfect court feel/cushion ratio. Just enough for lighter guards.
I struggle personally with a plush cushion, the energy return isn't as efficient and therefore you don't get that spring-back effect -- of course all of this happens in milli...
Preliminary thoughts - but I tried both the XX's and the NXXT Gens and the NXXT Gens felt better, more heel containment and firmer cushioning.
If you're after something more firm, less plush then maybe consider the NXXT Gens and save yourself some $$$.
Again no real world testing - but...
