you'll love the Hikes then because to me, the snakeskin material feels softer and thinner which makes the toe box roomier and the tongue feel less padded (the amount of padding is the same but the surface material just feels thinner) if you go TTS it shouldnt be a concern. very marginal, but...

i totally agree, it makes you forget about the shoes. i guess what i mean to say is that its special being simple and not over packed with tech. they give you the right/enough amount of performance and it just works.

thats what i tell people when they wonder if they perform looking like a pair of casual shoes. lol i just tell them nothing special but it sure gets the job done.

Agree that most shoetubers and people on forum (myself) can't fully maximize the full performance capabilities of the shoe but it feels good to have a pair of lighter shoes. came from the same era of hooping in bulky shoes (posits, heavy t macs with hardwood inside n other gimmick mechanism...

Thanks for sharing. hooped in them for the second time and they felt less narrow and more plush. extraordinary I guess would be pro nitro , thick, plush and responsive. The FF BB 2 are not as soft as I expected to give up on the responsiveness. I guess I prefer a more responsive set up.

do they need to be broken in? wore them once and i didnt feel the extraordinary cushioning that many shoetubers have been raving about or it should provide based on the thickkkkkkkkkk midsole. toe box fits snug going TTS as well but midfoot and backfoot felt fine.

All the sizing talk earlier got me effed up. Was team TTS then got the hikes half up to see what’s up but as mentioned toe box material and tongue felt softer and thinner than mirages thus didn’t really need to break in on the hikes for hooping. While manageable it didn’t feel as locked down but...

nah not wild at all lol QNTM one of my fav but I just cant make the fit work (swapped insoles, no insoles etc.). AE1 and Harden 8 could easily be a 700 VXXX shoe lol

agree on the overwhelmed hype (super limited during ASG) and marketing around the QNTM that it didn't live up to expectations was it demise. i really liked them but the fit was terrible for casual, let alone being marketed with hooping capabilities.
