Yeah that illustration leaves a little to be desired imo. First the Eagle's head on that shawl sweater and now this? The artists working at RL are slacking. The eagle head is particularly shocking considering what they want to charge for it.
The sportsman shirt is a step in the right direction...
Thanks for the info guys. I also saw that all the Sochi stuff was made in the USA too. I was just curious because looking through some of my vintage items, I was surprised to see about half of it was made in the USA. You can feel the difference in quality with that stuff, even if its only very...
Is this 2014 Stadium collection meant to be a tribute to the 1992 Stadium stuff or does it have nothing to do with the original Stadium line? Obviously Indian heads have nothing to do with the original Stadium line. So what is the 'Stadium' influence in this years collection to justify it...
That Summer 94 shirt is ill Middy. Never seen that.
Oh and thought I'd mention this, I'm from the UK and the TK Maxxes over here are getting Polo Bear T Shirts. They're selling them for £20 which is about $30. At the moment its only the Golf Bear with the blue sweater though. They also have...
Thats my problem with alot of RL stuff nowadays. They just use some generic stencil or varsity style font, add a washed out or intentionally faded look to the text then throw a horse or another emblem on it and call it a day.
Thinking about it thats actually the problem with alot of graphic...
True bip. Infact I managed to snag one of my favourite knits off of ebay recently (for a good price too), and its a Polo Sport piece. I call it 'The Deliverance' knit haha:
I think most of the Polo Sport stuff hasnt aged very well. With the whole colourblocking and big logos type of design, Polo Sport goes hand in hand with the vintage Tommy Hilfiger stuff. Looking back on both brands though I dont really like either of em personally, but I know that stuff really...
Like others the Stadium line would probably be my no.1 line but a close 2nd is definitely the Sportsman line. I love this line for its graphic pieces that are inspired by Hunting/Fishing magazine covers from the 1930's/40's:
I also love these 'Outdoorsman' shirts (although I'm not sure if they...
I'd like to see another Bear sweater. I hope they dont bother with another round of hats, scarves and hoodies though personally. I thought it was cool at first, but just throwing the bear on everything is kinda whack. I wouldnt want the bear to become as ubiquitous as the pony logo.
