So the New thread name will be Nike Air Camel toe ? If then that's great 👌hope all the next release have this feature so more ppl stay away from those 😅
Good read about the thicker PU sole . They were also stability problems of PU regarding hydrolysis , used at the Time on some shoes . Heard that from the Force 180 low designer Steve McDonald. The Ceramic had better longevity than the first batch , in récent pictures it shows better...
Custom 2005 sz15 bigger air unit opening .... Last step with clear uréthane to add structure because of removed PU ....and it will solve squeaking and unglueing of the air unit
Second pair as landed from Slam Jam , waiting for two others sz15 to Come ... Repainted midsole cream with 3 coat of flexible uréthane mat varnish on my first pair .
And i'm only responding to the fact that they are not 30 years old in the picture , and even brand new ones 1991 were flimsy and creased easily .... i wore three ceramic and one ultramarine to the ground at the time , i know what i'm talking about . check this one on ebay , brand new .... do...
Insole is pretty thin , cool colors but will bottom out quickly 😂
The size margin error on those 180 will be greater since they lock your heel in place , some shoes are not good for that.
If i compare my 86 BB and the 180 sizing ..... size 14 each .... better heel grip on the 180 , i find the the 180 shorter lenght my toes are right at the end with super thin socks , on the BB i have a few millimeters left a quarter of thumb , its not far off but i'm ordering size 15 for...
No worry its gone After a few steps ... I tried to squeeze it hard from the sides to see if there was two layers . Only my left foot was making noise 😂. And i'm clearly not a featherweight
When you Wear it there's a sound , so another problem like the Air Max 2 CB clicking noise of the TPU under the low pressure heel air unit . Will see if it will disappear over Time but the OG's never make that noise . And i rocked a few ones in early 2000 as well .
And its flexible on the OG and should be rubber . If you know the sound some Air max 2 cb makes under the heel , if you presse it you hear some click because of thé micro air gap , feels hard on this 2024 like TPU probably thinner with harder shore scale on a durometer
